This summer school (Monday-Friday) explores historical and contemporary forms of fascism and anti-liberal movements from a global perspective. Through visits to historical sites in Weimar and the Buchenwald Memorial, a former Nazi concentration camp, participants will examine mechanisms of exclusion, dehumanization and inequality as well as their implications for human rights. By connecting historical experiences with current political developments, the seminar aims to strengthen critical reflection, democratic values and human rights-oriented perspectives on discrimination, inequality and social justice.
